CONTAINER FREIGHT STATION (CFS)

One of the most comprehensively bonded CFS facilities in the Port of Vancouver corridor. TDK holds both sufferance (40 days) and CBW (up to 4 years) designations, plus on-site CBSA Secondary Examination capability — keeping your cargo moving and your supply chain intact.

  • Goods can be stored in-bond for up to 4 years without triggering duty payment. Ideal for importers managing cash flow, planning re-export, or holding inventory across commodity cycles. TDK's CBW designation is a strategic advantage for large-volume importers and distributors managing steel, construction materials, consumer goods, and other high-value cargo.

  • TDK operates heavy-duty forklifts and overhead lifting equipment with capacity ranging from 22,000 to 70,000 lbs — purpose-rated for steel coil, structural steel, heavy plate, and oversized industrial cargo. For importers and transloaders who need a facility that can actually handle what they're shipping, TDK is one of the few operators in this corridor equipped to do it.

  • TDK is a CBSA-approved regulated agent facility for cargo preparation, screening, and clearance — enabling sea-to-air programs with inland air movement. For importers and freight forwarders who ship by sea to Vancouver and need cargo prepared, screened, and cleared for same-day or next-day air movement, TDK provides the facility, the compliance infrastructure, and the coordination to make it work.

  • For in-bond cargo that needs to move quickly through the corridor. CBSA-compliant handling for bonded shipments in transit, with full RNS integration for real-time customs status updates.

  • Full CFS stuffing and de-stuffing services for less than container load shipments—or both import and export. We consolidate outbound LCL efficiently and break down incoming loads with the same care. CONTAINER YARD

Our 10-acre container yard is located in the heart of the Port of Vancouver logistics corridor, with direct access proximity to Deltaport, Vanterm, Centerm, and Fraser Surrey Docks. High-volume capability, flexible storage options, and a full range of equipment and services for importers, exporters, and shipping lines.

  • High-volume storage for both loaded and empty containers. Customs sufferance bonded yard — in-bond storage and movement available without triggering immediate duty obligations. Built for importers managing variable inventory cycles, peak-season surges, and direct-to-retailer dispatch.

  • 48 reefer plugs with refrigerated container storage and pre-trip inspection services. Temperature-sensitive cargo is handled with the infrastructure and protocols to keep it that way — from arrival through to dispatch.

  • Kalmar and Hyster container handlers capable of stacking containers up to 7 high, with heavy lift capacity for non-standard and overweight units. We handle loaded and empty containers of all types with the equipment and expertise to do it efficiently and safely.

  • On-site IICL certified technicians for container maintenance and repair. Quick estimates and fast turnaround — for shipping lines and operators who need damaged units back in rotation without delay.

  • Fully fenced and lit facility with CCTV monitoring. A secure environment for client cargo in the Port of Vancouver corridor.

  • Fully web-based container management system, giving clients access to reporting, tracking, and container lookup. EDI services based on customer requirements, with direct interfaces to ocean carriers.

  • Gate hours Monday through Friday, 7am to 11pm. Extended hours and weekend shifts available by arrangement for time-sensitive operations.

TRANSPORT COORDINATION

Transport coordination is the connective tissue between TDK's CFS and container yard operations. It's not a standalone carrier service—it's the last-mile and drayage layer that makes the full facility offering seamless for the client. One partner, from port to final destination.

  • Access to LCL and LTL container dray delivery throughout the Lower Mainland. We coordinate pickup and delivery between the yard, the CFS, and your client's final destination — reducing handoffs and keeping the chain intact.

  • For importers managing high-volume container flows with direct-to-retailer delivery requirements. Loaded container dispatch from the bonded yard, coordinated with TDK's CFS and transport layer for a clean, uninterrupted supply chain.

  • Container-to-truck transload capability within the CFS operation, with transport coordination for onward movement. Purpose-built for freight forwarders and transloaders moving cargo between container and other transport modes in the Port of Vancouver corridor.
